Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On April 16, 2018, John T. Potts, Jr., M.D. resigned from the board of directors of NantKwest, Inc. (the “Company”) effective immediately. Dr. Pott’s resignation was for personal reasons and not the result of any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices.
